THERESA FEATHERS

I began my Human Resources career in a large firm of solicitors before joining the NHS in 1982. During my years in the NHS I held both generalist and specialist roles at regional and local levels, with a particular leaning towards employee relations practice, reward strategy and personnel policy development. I left NHS employment in 1993 to establish myself independently but have continued to work, on a consultancy and project basis, with NHS organisations around Kent, Sussex, Essex and London, as well as with various other public, private sector and voluntary organisations.

In addition to my consultancy work with organisations, I have also undertaken the role of part-time Teaching Fellow at University of Kent; I was involved with the University's undergraduate, DMS and MBA programmes, specialising in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations and Organisational Psychology.

Personal Qualifications

I have a strong belief in the power of lifelong learning, and this is reflected through a personal investment of a significant proportion of my time targeted at my own self-development - which in turn benefits my clients.
